A Spring Preorder: Limited Edition Circle Bags in Rare Vintage Fabrics

A Spring Preorder: Limited Edition Circle Bags in Rare Vintage Fabrics

A Spring Preorder, Led by You

This season, I’m bringing back one of my favorite ways to design new bags—by letting you choose what gets made.

After seeing how much you all loved the recent fanny pack collaborations, I wanted to create something just as special for spring. So I’ve put together a small collection of Circle Bags using a mix of rare, vintage fabrics—each one completely different, each one available in very limited quantities.

This is a preorder release, which means your orders help fund the full production run. It’s a way to bring these one-of-a-kind materials to life while also restocking some of our core, everyday styles behind the scenes.

If you’ve been wanting something new, colorful, and a little unexpected for spring (or a meaningful Mother’s Day gift), this is your moment—these will ship in time for Mother’s Day, but only if orders come in soon.

Rare Fabrics, Each with a Story

Each fabric in this collection has its own story—and in many cases, once it’s gone, it’s truly gone.

Some of the Circle Bags feature rare upholstery textiles originally developed as part of Boeing interior prototypes—materials designed for durability, now reimagined for everyday use.

Others come from deeply personal and serendipitous finds, like the Morro Bay sailboat fabric—one of the last remaining cuts from a set of vintage barkcloth curtains I discovered a few seasons ago, on a solo road-trip down the southern coast of  California. Once this final round is used, there won’t be more.

And a few pieces trace back even further, including a vintage textile connected to Seattle designer Howard Blair, known for his custom dresses he made for Seafair princess and well-to-do brides in the 1960s—another example of how these materials carry history into the present.

What ties them all together is this: these fabrics weren’t made for handbags. But through small-batch production, they get a second life—transformed into something durable, functional, and meant to be used every day.

A Limited Run, Made Together

Because this is a preorder, you’re not just shopping—you help shape what gets made.

The styles and fabrics that resonate most are the ones that move forward into production. It’s a more intentional, low-waste way of working, and it means every bag we make already has a home waiting for it.
