I was drawn to crystalyn kae for the sustainable business philosophy, and now have 3 of these awesome bags - the large hobo in wine, the black metier tote, and the metier tote in hunter green. I adore them all, but the black metier tote is the one I keep going back to. It’s a classic and so versatile. I also love traveling with it; you can stuff it to the top, or button it up to make it smaller, and it’s super easy to keep clean. I bought it years ago, and still get compliments on it!

Another Hobo for the family -- I love this bag so much, this is the fourth time I have purchased one. I have given two to friends. Mine (black with red stitches) is likely over 10 years old and looks good as new despite the fact that it is my everyday bag that has seen much travel and grit. I get compliments on it all of the time. They are shocked to see I can tuck in a water bottle, journal, book, windbreaker, phone, back up battery... yes, all of those things at once. The design is timeless and the materials are durable. I love to tell folks it is sewn locally by an amazing team of makers.

I am a huge fan, this is my second Crystalyn Kae bag, and I couldn’t be happier! I bought my first hobo bag 9 years ago and not only do I still have it and use it, but it still looks almost new. As a Mother’s Day gift to myself I bought the new color block mini troubadour tote and I don’t know why but I was worried it would be too heavy and big, but when it arrived it was so lightweight, so cute and immediately I felt like I’d had it for years it was so comfortable and the perfect compact size that somehow had plenty of room for all my stuff! I recently went to my daughters graduation in New York City sporting my new bag and it was perfect for the 92° day; it fit a small umbrella, a fan, snacks, and all the usual stuff AND it was super stylin! I love my new bag and I am totally repping you on both the west and the east coast! And as a funny sidenote I was recently in my favorite local store Unfurl in Manzanita OR and as I was in the dressing room I heard your name and walked out with my bag and sure enough it was you and it was such a nice surprise to meet you in person! Thanks for literally bringing the local to “made locally “! This bag is light as a feather and the medium grey color is a perfect year-round neutral. The crossbody strap and short top handles are my favorite combination. It has a smooth-working top zipper for security. The bright lining lets you see what’s in your bag, instead of feeling around in dark bottomless pit. There are just enough interior and exterior pockets. It is water resistant, looks like quality leather, and I know it will age well as I have had the Metier bag for well over 10 years and it still looks great. I can’t think of anything that falls short of perfect. I just bought the larger Troubadour in black for travel and work.

These bags are brilliant—beautiful and sturdy! I wore my Charleston hobo for 6 years straight and ONLY purchased a new one because I wanted a different color (my “old” bag still looks great). This company has the best customer service. I can’t imagine buying a bag from anyone else.

I love these hobo bags. I officially have 5 of the hobos at this point plus some others. I got rid of all my other bags and now only carry Crystalyn Kae purses. The larger Charleston is perfect for all I need to have with me. And what is extra special is the material. It's not leather but looks exactly like leather and is much lighter to carry. I've received lots of compliments on these bags and people are really surprised to hear the bags are not leather. They also easily clean up if anything gets on them. I've had my other CK purses for years and they still look like brand new. I just bought the butterscotch color. I love all things butterscotch and don't know what took me so long to order this one. And on top of how beautiful they are and how well they are made, Crystalyn provides the best customer service. And nowadays, the latter means everything to me.

These card cases are so pretty. They will make excellent additions to hostess gifts this holiday season. I discovered your bags at an Urban Craft Uprising show several years ago - I've since acquired three gorgeous bags and multiple accessories. They all have stood up to daily commuting, hauling laptops, and even a few spills, and have transitioned to diaper bags, travel bags, and still look great!
