One of the last most recent hurdles of moving my production process to NYC is finding vendors with specialized equipment- so that I can keep my designs consistent. For the most part, I’ve been absolutely blown away by the quality of skilled help in NYC and in most cases, the caliber of my designs has only gotten better with their help. Hooray for made in the USA!
So today, I took a trip to Queens to see New York Binding – (please tell me you watched the video above. . .it’s AMAZING!!) to show them my folder, which is used to make the wide adjustable straps on my hobos & drawstring totes absolutely perfect. . .Like this:

I dropped off the supplies for them to make a test sample. . . fingers crossed that they can make the straps. . .because if their machinery can handle it – I will be able to offer coordinating belts, and headbands, and camera straps, and, and, and. . . .oh the possibilities!
