are your bags made in the USA?
Yes! Every single bag I make is created from start to finish in Seattle, Washington. I wouldn't have it any other way. Find out more about me and my creation process here.

are your bags sturdy?
Absolutely! I design bags for beauty and functionality, using an industrial sewing machine. Zipper seams are triple-reinforced, and the entire bag is sewn with 45 lb. strength thread. My bags are sturdy, they do great in the rain, and you can even throw them in the washing machine! (see below)

how quickly will my order ship? Very quickly! Your order will ship within 1 business day via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Shipping is FREE to anywhere in the United States. You will be sent a tracking number in a seperate email from USPS after your order has shipped.

do you offer baby bag?
I offer 3 styles of bags that are spacious and washable, that work great as a baby bag: the Charleston Large Topstitched Hobo, the Troubadour Tote and the Soirée Drawstring.

do you offer laptop bags?
Yes, the bag that will perfectly fit a laptop and paperwork is the Troubadour Tote, as it features a center laptop divider and a foam-padded base. You can also check out the Metier Tote which offers a more streamlined silhouette.

how do I order? Shop right here on our secure encrypted site using your Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express via Paypal.

do you charge sales tax? Sales tax is only charged for orders shipped within WA State: 9.5% as required by applicable laws.

do you accept international orders? Yes! All prices are in US Dollars and will be calculated according to the current exchange rate in accordance to your credit card. USPS Priority International shipping for your total order is $15. Your purchase will arrive within 6-10 business days. Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer.


can I ship a bag as a gift? Yes! During checkout, use the gift recipient's address as the shipping address. I'll wrap it in pretty tissue and include a gift reciept and a message of your choice. Just let us know! p.s. If your gift recipient wants to exchange their bag for something different, no problem! Just have them get in touch within 14 days and we'll take care of the rest!

what is your return and exchange policy?
Exchanges are happily accepted within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us for return authorization. Returned bags must be returned in unused condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If your return is accepted, you will be issued a store credit, or a trade value towards a new bag, less shipping & handling fees (usually $12-20). We reserve the right to refuse a return for any reason. Sorry, we cannot accept returns from other retailers.

what if a bag says 'sold out'? Chances are the bag is only temporarily out of stock. We offer a classic line of Hobos and Totes. However, all of my designs are subject to availability. I enjoy making limited-edition designs with vintage fabrics that often can not be replicated. This makes your bag more distinct to you! If you see something you simply cannot live without, please email me and I'll see what I can do for you!

do you accept custom bag orders? Since my design process is organic, I am always working on new designs and love to hear your feedback. However, I rarely accept custom work. As my business has grown, I have chosen to focus on creating limited-edition and one of a kind designs for immediate purchase here on my website. do you offer wholesale pricing to boutiques and retailers?
Yes, we'd love to hear from you! Please send us an email with your reseller ID #, boutique name, website address, store address, and phone number using this contact form, and we will get back to you asap.

are your bags really machine-washable?
Yes! Nearly every bag offered on my site (with very few exceptions) are rain-proof and completely machine-washable. Just follow these 4 easy steps:
1) Empty the contents of your bag and pull the lining to the outside.
2) Add a tablespoon of laundry soap to the washer.
3) Throw your bag in the washing machine on gentle cycle
4) Hang it to dry. (Do not put your bag in the dryer or dry-clean.)
For less dirty bags, you can spot clean with any household multi-purpose cleaner. You can also use shoe polish to freshen the sheen on your bag, and any scuff marks can often be removed by applying a bit of rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab.

are all of your bags vegan?
No, a few bags on my site are crafted of new, vegetable-tanned or recycled leather. If you prefer to purchase only animal-free handbags, we offer this dedicated section of the site, or look for this vegan handbag icon in any item's description.

do you offer bag repairs?

Yes, Crystalyn Kae guarantees workmanship and in the rare case that something goes wrong, we will repair your bag for free within the first year. We are always happy to replace/repair hardware & zippers for the life of the bag for a small fee, usually $30 - 65.

The fine print: No returns for repair will be accepted without pre-authorization, and must be washed before sending. All shipping charges related to the repairs will be the responsibility of the customer. Guarantee does not include cases of normal wear and tear, abuse or misuse - accidental or otherwise - nor alterations, modifications or repairs by customer or third parties. We cannot be held responsible for personal property damage or injury as a result of use of our products.
