Monarch hobos (x 2!) at the Toronto Vegetarian Food Fair

Singer Larra Skye, recently got in touch with this cute photo of herself at the Toronto Vegetarian Food Fair, with a volunteer. . . .both rocking their Crystalyn Kae monarch hobos!   “I love my purse!  I take it to the grocery store, to the bar, I stuff it with gear for my gigs.  I take it everywhere!”

And the even cooler news is that Larra will be performing next week here in Seattle – at Egan’s Ballard Jam house on Sept. 23.  She has graciously offered to give away a free pass to her show AND a free CD of her album “The World Disappears”.   If you love jazz/indie music, please leave a comment below by Monday the 20th at 8 pm PST to be entered in the drawing for this great giveaway.

I adore my Monarch black hobo bag – it’s chic and vegan!  She uses a great mix of vintage fabrics and upholstery -grade fabrics that have been scuffed, then glazed to be as sturdy as leather.

Custom Tweed Monarch

Dee Dee came to my Rooftop Trunk Show last month and loved the tweed totes and clutches,but she really was craving a new hobo. She placed a custom order for this two-tone Monarch with Black and White tweed across the front, with solid black on the back. I thought it was a marvelous idea!

Dee Dee owns several of my funky and unique designs, so I decided to surprise her with a fun floral fabric pocket on the inside, as well. I really love the combination together and I hope she does too! Let me know what you think!
